My Life In Art:

Music:
Conway Twitty - "Hello Darlin'"

My bed smells like this old coat I bought at a thrift store that actually fits. It's fur collared and I doubt it's real, but it smells like a dead cat my grandma probably has lying around in her attic. Anyway, my point is: the whole room smells like it (the coat that is) and it's less than pleasant.

In other news, I started a knitting blog! Ah yes, now everyone will know my good works and compliment me on them. Such a smug feeling, to say the least. Maybe I will get a wonderful cult following and stop lurking so much.

For my first trick!

That's right, top down knitted baby sweaters. I would embellish them, but I'm not quite sure of the baby's sex just yet. I think she (my favorite Aida) will find out tomorrow, which means I will find out on Monday. I hope it's a girl because if it is, she is going to name her Maya. If it's a boy though, her husband is picking Brian Angel. What a stupid name.

I'm working on my very first OWN sweater and it, too, is worked top down. Who's excited? This girl.

A good way to enjoy the idea of prospective schooling in Portland is through knitting up a sweater you know you will use. This is a perfect time for me to get better aquainted with such cold climates. My nose is frosty from this ridiculous weather we're having. I wonder if there's a way to fix that without looking completely retarded.

Can't wait 'til Thursday already!
